  • Kim Stern returns to Silence! The Musical

    The Broadway Warm-Up and SILENCE! the Musical connection continues. Kim Stern returns to the show as it moves uptown to the Elektra Theatre, 673 8th Ave (at 42nd Street) on Wednesday July 18th.

    SILENCE! The Musical is a parody of The Silence of the Lambs.

    Both Kim Stern and Deidre Goodwin, creators of The Broadway Warm-Up, have appeared in SILENCE! Deidre Goodwin left the show this past June after originating the role of Ardelia Mapp in the Fringe festival and it’s downtown run.

    Kim teams back up with the current cast which includes Married with Children star David Garrison (Hannibal Lecter), Jenn Harris (Clarice Starling), Stephen Bienskie (Buffalo Bill) and Queer as Folk’s Randy Harrison (Dr. Chilton) head the cast of SILENCE! The Musical, which also features Ashlee Dupré, Howard Kaye, Nick McGough, Topher Nuccio, Ronica V. Reddick (Ardelia Mapp), Pamela Bob and Doug Trapp

  • Deidre joins Broadway Dreams Faculty!

    Deidre is joining the “Dream Team” that is Broadway Dreams in                 Omaha July 9 -14 and Philadelphia July 30-August 5th for their “Express Yourself” 2012 summer intensives.

    Broadway Dreams is the premiere workshop for anyone who aspires to succeed on Broadway. During the course of the week students attend educational classes which include perfecting their audition skills, vocal coaching, pop stylings, song selection, how to cold read, career planning, college prep, dance, pictures and resume writing. The classes are taught by a faculty comprised of Broadway performers, directors, choreographers, composers and casting directors. They also rehearse and then perform in a show alongside the Broadway faculty.

    The all star faculty in Omaha includes Nicholas Rodriquez (Tarzan-Bway, Oklahoma-Kennedy Center); Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line-Bway, Kristen Chenoweth Some lessons Learned tour); Titus Burgess (The Little Mermaid – Bway, 30 Rock – D’Fwan) and Jarrod Emick (Damn Yankees – Tony winner, Ring of Fire) among others.
