Kim Stern

Kim Stern has been teaching private voice lessons, vocal performance workshops and voice technique workshops to individuals and groups around the world for over 15 years.

Her studio is based in Midtown Manhattan right in the heart of Times Square. Kim’s students can be seen regularly working on Broadway, National Tours and Regionally. As a young professional performer, Kim began her study of the voice at an early age. She went on to receive a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College and continued to develop her teaching technique through extensive work with several accredited professionals and her own personal exploration. She is one of the most sought after voice teachers in New York City and continues to work with new talent along with her associate teacher at the studio. Recently, Kim helped to establish the curriculum for the Musical Theatre Conservatory Program at New York Film Academy. She was also seen on Good Morning America coaching anchor Bianna Golodryga for her Broadway debut.

As a performer, Kim has performed on Broadway, on National tours, in film and television and has done commercial and voice over work. She has also sung at Carnegie Hall with Bruce Springsteen and in the world concert, Live- Aid. Some other career highlights include working with legends such as Hal Prince, Jule Styne, Comden & Green, Martha Raye, Martin Charnin and Danny Kaye.

Deidre Goodwin

A veteran of eight Broadway shows, Deidre’s credits include A Chorus Line, Chicago, Nine, The Boys from Syracuse, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show, and the original companies of Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life and Never Gonna Dance.

She has also appeared in numerous other regional and New York theatrical productions including the Fringe and off Broadway productions of Silence! The Musical where she originated the role of “Ardelia Mapp”.

A sizzling turn as a “Merry Murderess” in the Oscar-winning film Chicago garnered her a piece of the 2003 SAG Award for Best Ensemble. She is also featured in the documentary Every Little Step snagging the coveted role of “Sheila” in the 2006 Broadway revival of A Chorus Line. Other film roles include Love and Other Drugs, It’s Complicated, Across the Universe and Bourne Legacy.

Television audiences will recognize Deidre as “DeBORah” from the “MILF Island” episode of 30 Rock as well as from stints on Law & Order SVU, Nurse Jackie, Rescue Me, Dancing with the Stars (with the cast of A Chorus Line), The View, Good Morning America, and The Tony Awards. Deidre has added the honored role of Teacher and Mentor to her resume and teaches Dance and Musical Theatre Workshops across the country.
